About me

Beth Burn brings more than three decades of specialized experience to our acute and outpatient speech therapy teams. A Penn State University graduate (BS and MS), she focuses on treating adults with language, speech, and swallowing disorders, including those recovering from stroke, Parkinson’s disease, head and neck cancer and other neurologically based diseases. Beyond her clinical work, she has contributed to the medical community through professional publication and presentations on stroke rehabilitation. She holds advanced specialization in instrumental dysphagia evaluations, including VFSS and FEES. In her dual role as a practitioner and clinical supervisor, she ensures department policies reflect current best practices and evidence-based treatment for optimal patient care.
