Dr. Rao is Director, Vascular Surgery at Doylestown Hospital.

A board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular and endovascular surgeon, Atul S. Rao, MD, FACS, is highly experienced in the performance of advanced procedures for a full range of vascular conditions, offering minimally-invasive endovascular interventions and complex open surgeries often found at academic medical centers.

Dr. Rao is board-certified in general and vascular surgery. Prior to joining Doylestown Health, he was a faculty member and attending vascular surgeon at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He then joined Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY, where he was co-director of the Aortic Center and assistant program director of the Vascular and Endovascular Fellowship Training Program.
