About me

Amy Ryan is an Occupational Therapist with more than 25 years of experience providing rehabilitation services across a variety of care settings, including outpatient, acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and home health. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Scranton in 2000. Amy specializes in neurologic rehabilitation and has a particular interest in vision rehabilitation, return-to-driving services, and home modifications that promote safety, independence, and quality of life. She holds both the Executive Certificate in Home Modification (ECHM) and Certified Aging-in-Place Specialist (CAPS) designations, reflecting her commitment to helping individuals remain active, engaged, and independent within their homes and communities. Amy also performs comprehensive Driving Risk Assessments for individuals with neurological conditions. These in-clinic evaluations help patients, families, and physicians better understand a person's readiness to return to or continue driving safely. The assessment does not include on-the-road testing but evaluates the key skills needed for safe driving, including vision, cognition, perception, and physical function.

Outside of work, Amy enjoys DIY home improvement projects, learning Italian, and spending time with her husband and four children.
