Overview

The Jim Craigie Center for Joint Replacement at Penn Medicine Princeton Medical Center specializes in hip replacement and knee replacement surgeries, including minimally invasive and same-day joint replacements for eligible patients.

Recognized for excellence, the Center holds the Gold Seal of Approval® for total hip and total knee replacement from the Joint Commission, the nation's oldest healthcare accrediting body. We are one of only a few hospitals in the region to earn the Joint Commission's Advanced Disease Certification in total hip and total knee replacement.

Our expert team—comprised of board-certified orthopaedic surgeons, a dedicated orthopaedic nurse navigator, and skilled healthcare professionals—is committed to delivering personalized care and outstanding outcomes. We provide comprehensive education, tailored pre- and post-operative rehabilitation, and safe, effective pain management to help patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and reclaim their lives.

The Jim Craigie Center for Joint Replacement was made possible by a generous gift from Jim Craigie, who had both his hips replaced at Princeton Medical Center. Mr. Craigie was so pleased with the quality of the care he received–and the improved quality of his life–that he made a gift to establish this extraordinary center.

In New Jersey, providers are affiliated with Penn Medicine through Clinical Health Care Associates of New Jersey or Princeton Healthcare Affiliated Physicians, PC.
