Overview
The Armellino Center of Excellence for Williams Syndrome was created in 2022 as a place for coordinated, lifelong care for people with Williams Syndrome.
Our Center - a partnership between Penn Medicine and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) - offers medical and behavioral health care in one place. We offer:
- Adolescent and adult care: Support for teens and adults, helping families navigate major life transitions.
- Team based approach: Medical, behavioral health, and support services are coordinated in one place, making it easier for patients and their caregivers.
- Personalized guidance: Each patient receives a care plan that reflects their unique strengths and challenges.
- Family support: We help caregivers find resources, understand next steps, and feel confident in their loved one’s long term care.
- Ongoing research: We strive to advance care and improve understanding of Williams Syndrome through leading-edge research.
