Penn Medicine hospitals offer a Safe Haven where you can take your baby to make sure they are safe if you are not ready or not able to care for them.
You can drop off your newborn (up to 28 days old) with a staff member at a Pennsylvania hospital or to a police officer at a police station. If the baby is unharmed and not a victim of any crime, you will not be in any trouble. No one will ask questions or judge you.
