    Last month, PAH said a bittersweet farewell to Pat Lanzilotta, associate director for Engineering Services, after 49 years of dedicated service. Lanzilotta, who started his career at only 19 years old, witnessed decades of changes, challenges, and construction, and played an integral role in Pennsy’s continued growth.

    PAH Walkers Fundraise with All Their Heart

    This year, nearly 300 walkers from PAH joined more than 2,000 other Penn Medicine staff and supporters at Citizens Bank Park to promote the American Heart Association (AHA)’s mission to improve the cardiovascular health of all Americans nationwide by 20 percent by 2020.

    Reuniting with the “Stars” of the ICN

    PAH rolled out the red carpet, decorated Elm Garden and the Pine Building grounds with golden star balloons and a mini-Hollywood Sign, and filled baskets with VIP passes for their superstar guests. Part of the hospital’s new drug take-back program — one of the latest initiatives to combat the opioid crisis — this receptacle offers a convenient place for individuals to drop off their leftover, unused, and expired prescription and over-the-counter medications.
