To help ring in the New Year, the Penn Medicine Department of Communications took a look back at the many highlights and achievements of our faculty, staff, and students with its Penn Medicine Year in Review 2013. From landmark breakthroughs in medical research to system-wide growth – including the opening of PAH’s new outpatient facility, Penn Medicine Washington Square – moving forward with new leadership to celebrating milestone accomplishments in patient care, 2013 was another notable year for Penn Medicine. The coming year brings more opportunities for Penn physicians, scientists, students, nurses, technicians, and social workers to continue unlocking more mysteries of medical science and finding new ways to heal and help.
