At noon Wednesday, June 10, employees and leaders of Penn Medicine Lancaster General Health came together to kneel silently for eight minutes, 46 seconds in remembrance of those who have been victims of racism.

“White Coats for Black Lives” demonstrations have taken place across the country in solidarity against racial injustices and health inequities. Coordinated large-group gatherings took place at Lancaster General Hospital, Women & Babies Hospital, Suburban Pavilion, Ann B. Barshinger Cancer Institute and BURLE.
