Lancaster General Hospital Opens

Lancaster General Hospital first opened its doors in 1893, in a three story brick residence at 322 N. Queen Street, Lancaster. Now, 125 years later, after relocation and various expansion projects, the most recent including the Frederick Building, LGH occupies an entire city block at 555 N. Duke Street.
