Jayne Van Bramer has been named chief executive officer at Lancaster Behavioral Health Hospital. She will lead the new 126-bed behavioral health facility which is currently under construction and expected to open in the summer of 2018, greatly expanding access to inpatient and outpatient mental-health treatment for the region.

Van Bramer recently served as VP of Behavioral Health at Brandywine Hospital in Coatesville, Pennsylvania, where she led the revitalization of the behavioral health service through several by increasing patient census, enhancing recovery oriented programming and practices, improving patient and family satisfaction scores, strengthening key quality indicators and enhancing community suicide prevention efforts and police Crisis Intervention Training.

In this role, Van Bramer improved the facility’s credibility with the community, expanded working relationships with local universities and was appointed to the national Corporate Behavioral Health Council. As a result of her leadership, Brandywine Hospital held the first state licensing survey with zero deficiencies since the program’s inception.
