Joce-Lyn Hanton, an EVS assistant director at HUP, was selected as one of The Philadelphia Tribune’s Women of Achievement. According to her nomination letter, her contributions, especially during the pandemic, were “nothing short of inspiring.”

For example, she was instrumental in creating COVID-19 patient discharge room cleaning protocols as well as assembling — and leading the EVS “SWAT” team responsible for cleaning COVID patient rooms.  She also helped create a comprehensive personal protective equipment protocol and training program to keep all team members safe.

Hanton “loves her work, and treats everyone with love and respect. She leads by example and gains the trust of people around her.”
