Princeton Medical Center Earned an A in the Fall 2022 Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades.

Congratulations to providers and staff members at Princeton Medical Center (PMC), which received its third consecutive “A” in the Leapfrog Hospital Safety Grades, a peer-reviewed rating published twice annually to evaluate hospitals on how well they protect patients from preventable errors, accidents, injuries, and infections.

The Fall 2022 Hospital Safety Grades were released November 16 by The Leapfrog Group, an independent national watchdog organization.

Chester County Hospital, Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center, and Pennsylvania Hospital also received A’s.

The grades are based on more than 30 performance measures related to outcomes such as hospital-acquired infections, surgical errors, and patient falls, as well as the systems that hospitals have in place to help prevent harm.
