Food, personal care items, and pet products donated by employees, volunteers, and physicians at Penn Medicine Princeton Health were given to food pantries in Plainsboro and Trenton.

Thank you to the employees, volunteers, and physicians across Penn Medicine Princeton Health whose donations to Heroes Fighting Hunger filled a good-sized conference room in the Human Resources Department.

Boxes and bags filled with non-perishable food, personal care items, and pet products collected at Princeton Medical Center (PMC) and other Princeton Health locations were delivered to the Plainsboro, N.J. food pantry and Trenton Area Soup Kitchen on March 14.

Kyle Bonner, diversity, inclusion, and equity specialist, the food drive coordinator, said this year’s bounty seemed even greater than last year’s, a display of compassion and generosity that is sorely needed at a time when many people in central New Jersey are facing financial struggles and food insecurity.
