State-of-the-art balance disorder testing and treatment

Balance disorders are complex conditions that can affect your ears, eyes, brain, muscles, and nerves. At Penn Medicine, we do in-depth assessments to discover the underlying cause of dizziness, vertigo, disequilibrium (feeling off balance), and other problems in your vestibular system. Our Balance and Dizziness Center offers the region’s most advanced diagnostic testing equipment and the widest range of balance and dizziness testing services.

We treat more people per month than any other center in the region, giving our team a depth of experience that’s hard to find elsewhere. Audiologists, neurotologists, neurologists, neuro-ophthalmologists, and physical therapists work together to evaluate your case and plan your care. We draw on many evidence-based treatments to help you regain stability and quality of life, including lifestyle adjustments, medication, physical therapy, and surgery if needed.
