Conditions we evaluate
Peace of mind through precision fertility testing
When you are unable to conceive, we’ll help you find out why. We offer a full range of testing capabilities to ensure we discover the root cause of your infertility. Our infertility care specialists will recommend appropriate tests based on your specific needs.
During your fertility evaluation, we may recommend one or more of the following tests:
- Anti-Mullerian hormone (AMH) and follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) tests: These blood tests measure your hormones and give us information about your ovarian reserve (the number of eggs in your ovaries).
- Hormone tests and reproductive genetic testing: In females, we can test your blood for the hormone progesterone, which tells us if you’re ovulating. In males, blood tests can check hormone levels and determine if a genetic condition is causing infertility.
- Hysterosalpingogram (HSG): HSG uses X-ray technology and a special dye to let us see inside your uterus and fallopian tubes. It enables us to check for conditions like uterine polyps or fibroids. HSG also shows blockages in your fallopian tubes.
- Pelvic ultrasound: We use ultrasound to examine your uterus and uterine lining. Ultrasound also helps us determine your antral follicle count (AFC) to understand how many eggs remain in your ovaries.
- Semen analysis: We analyze semen for sperm count and motility in our on-site andrology labs.
- Sonohysterogram (SHG): SHG is a type of ultrasound that uses sterile saline water to give us a closer view of your uterus and uterine lining. During an SHG, we can use the FemVue fallopian tube test to see if your fallopian tubes are open or blocked.
Depending on your condition, we may recommend additional testing to understand why you’re not conceiving.
