Penn Cancer Network
About the Penn Cancer Network
The Penn Cancer Network is a select group of community hospitals and physician practices throughout the greater Philadelphia region collaborating with Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center. It is our commitment to provide excellence in cancer care throughout our region. Penn’s Cancer Network hospitals and member practices are recognized for their excellence in patient care and a commitment to improving the health and well-being of their community.
The Abramson Cancer Center is the cornerstone of the Cancer Network, offering subspecialty care not usually available at most community hospitals, as well as the vast research and technological resources of one of the nation’s foremost cancer centers.
The Cancer Network offers a collaborative system of care between the community hospital and Penn. This means if you are receiving care at your local Cancer Network hospital, you will have access to the latest treatments, including Penn’s extensive clinical trials program. When you come to Penn, our specialists remain in close contact with your local physicians. This close relationship between Penn physicians and those at the Network hospitals assures you of optimal care.
