Our employee health programs and services
We’re committed to providing high-quality, comprehensive occupational health care to employees throughout the Greater Philadelphia, Lancaster, and Princeton areas.
Our occupational health services include drug (urine) and alcohol (breath) testing to keep your employees and your workplace as safe as possible. We do on-site testing for larger groups, as well as randomized testing.
After-hours testing in the ER is also available. Our experienced staff can provide substance use consultations, counseling, and referrals as needed.
We offer drug and alcohol testing for:

Employee physicals make sure workers are healthy enough to do their jobs and help employers stay compliant with industry-specific requirements, such as those for the Department of Transportation (DOT) or Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).

DOT physicals
Truck drivers must meet federal guidelines to ensure they’re healthy enough to drive a commercial motor vehicle. At Penn Medicine, FMCSA-certified medical examiners–physicians, nurse practitioners, or physician assistants–perform these tests and issue a Medical Examiner’s Certificate or DOT card.
We offer many preventive care services, including immunizations (vaccines), screenings, and travel medicine. Our occupational medicine providers help you select the services that best meet the needs of your employees. Select services are available on-site.
