Highlights of the facility
- Free garage parking: Plenty of free parking is available on-site in the Penn Medicine Valley Forge garage.
- An integrated model of care: Instead of separate offices, doctors share space to allow for better coordination between primary care, specialty care and diagnostic services.
- Expanded hours: Many of the practices at the center offer extended hours in the evenings and on weekends to accommodate the needs of patients.
- The Henry P. Erdman Educational Center: The center serves as a key training site for hundreds of students from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, who rotate through it to observe “real-world” medical interactions. Students also get involved in community and patient education.
- On-site cafe: The Coffee Shop at Valley Forge is open in our lobby on weekdays for breakfast, lunch, and snacks.
- Common electronic medical record: All Penn Medicine Valley Forge providers use MyChart by myPennMedicine, a common electronic medical record that is linked across the entire health system. Patients have access to their medical records through a secure website and app and can communicate electronically with their doctor’s office.
