Lancaster General Hospital visitor policies
Masking guidelines
Patients, visitors, and staff are not required to wear masks in our hospitals.
Anyone who wants to wear a mask is welcome to do so. If you have a cough, runny nose, or other respiratory symptoms, you must wear a surgical mask while inside Penn Medicine facilities. We encourage people with weakened immune systems to continue to wear masks.
Our guidelines may change in response to increases in respiratory illnesses in our region.
