Community health and wellness
At Princeton Health, we believe in supporting the whole person—physically, emotionally, and mentally. Our community wellness team is committed to providing education, resources, specialized programs, and tools to help you build the skills you need to get and stay healthy. Our goal is to make central New Jersey a healthier and stronger community for everyone.
Community Health Needs Assessment
Every three years, we affirm our commitment to the community by performing a Community Health Needs Assessment (CHNA). The CHNA looks broadly at the health of our community and identifies key concerns. In response, we develop a Strategic Implementation Plan (SIP) to address CHNA findings and enhance our community’s well-being.
Community programs
Our community wellness team offers a dynamic curriculum of innovative health- and lifestyle-related programs, screenings, and support services. We partner with local organizations to provide free health screenings, CPR and personal safety training, food and clothing drives, and assistance with health insurance through Get Covered NJ. Our team also promotes healthy living and helps you manage chronic diseases through nutrition, exercise, and activities like yoga and mindfulness.
