Providing Comfort and Strength During your Hospital Stay

At Penn Medicine, we understand that having cancer can be a frightening and emotionally draining time. In addition to your medical care, we ensure that emotional and spiritual care is available for you and your loved ones. A chaplain is available to comfort and to help you draw upon your religious or spiritual strength.

Interfaith

Your hospital chaplain respects your religious traditions and personal experiences. Whatever your own denomination may be, chaplains come to support, not to persuade. We also welcome the involvement of your home clergy while you are being cared for at Penn Medicine. We will be glad to help you contact clergy of any faith to visit and comfort you or your family.
