Meet Dr. Okorji

I have expertise in and passion for minimally invasive abdominal wall reconstruction and hernia surgery, as well as bariatric and foregut surgeries.

I did my general surgery residency training at Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. I then completed an Advanced GI/MIS fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

With an undergraduate background in electrical engineering, I have a particular interest in the latest technologies being used in GI surgery as well as surgical education, research, and global surgery.
