Join Penn Medicine’s 2019 Philadelphia Heart Walk Team

Heart Walk GraphicJoin the Penn Medicine community, American Heart Association (AHA) and people of all ages at the 2019 Philadelphia Heart Walk and support the fight against heart disease and stroke!

The Philly Heart Walk is part of a collaborative, nationwide event to raise awareness and funds to support the AHA's mission of building healthier lives free of cardiovascular disease and stroke. Thousands of people from around the area are expected to join the event on Saturday, November 2nd at Citizen’s Bank Park.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease strikes someone in the United States about once every 42 seconds. Your participation and fundraising efforts in the Philly Heart Walk directly supports Penn Medicine and the AHA in their goal of improving the cardiovascular health of all Americans by 20 percent by 2020. Research efforts like those underwritten by the Philly Heart Walk make great strides in decreasing the burden heart disease and stroke place on families and health care resources.
