How to Start Your Video Visit

You can join your visit from either a computer or mobile device that has a webcam or front-facing camera. We recommend that you join using a computer if possible.

  1. You will receive an email message containing a BlueJeans link from your provider’s office before your appointment. Tap on the link or “Start Video Visit” button to join your visit and be sure to allow BlueJeans access your device’s camera and microphone.
  2. Screenshot showing how to allow BlueJeans access for camera and microphone on a computer
  3. Please join 10 minutes before the start of your video visit from a quiet and private place.
  4. Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi or in a place where you get a strong internet connection.
  5. If you are joining from a mobile device, please hang up any active calls and close other apps before joining.
  6. If your provider is running late, please stay in the video visit. Your provider may text or call you in case there is a slight change in their schedule or if they don’t see you in the video visit.
  7. Before your video visit, please review these helpful tips. They can help make your visit as successful as possible for both you and your provider.

If you have not received the link by the scheduled time of your call, please call your provider’s office.
