Description of Research Expertise
Dr. Bhatt is the primary investigator for the Macular Edema Treatment Trials associated with Multicenter Uveitis Steroid Trial (MUST). Her research is centered around targeting various intraocular therapies for the treatment of macular edema secondary to non-infectious uveitis.
Dr. Bhatt is also the primary investigatory for the Systemic Immunosuppressive Therapy for Eye Disease Cohort Study (SITE), a large multi-center study conducting outcomes research regarding systemic immune suppressive and ocular inflammatory disease.
