Dr. Massaro-Giordano participates in research to elucidate the role of a specific protein PAI-2 (Plasminogen Activator Inhibitor Type 2) involved in corneal homeostasis and has had a recent press release about her research involving ocular surface proteins and tumor suppressor genes.
