Accepting new patients

Meet Dr. DeMartino

My mission is to deliver equitable, high quality, evidence-based primary care to individuals and families across the lifespan, with particular dedication to caring for vulnerable populations. I partner with patients and use a trauma-informed lens to collaborate on consensual, individualized, and patient-centered healthcare.

My vision is to identify and address structures of oppression impacting health and wellbeing, and to work to mitigate these through my nursing practice, promoting thriving communities and neighborhoods. I work to understand healthcare inequity and how it manifests on both a systemic and individual scale.

As a family nurse practitioner, I take care of infants, children, adolescents, adults, and elders in full scope primary care, with wellness care/disease prevention as well as acute and chronic disease management. My clinical expertise is in care of LGBTQIA++ populations, with extensive training and experience caring for transgender and gender diverse individuals.

I practice at Penn Family Care, which is located at 3737 Market Street on the 9th floor. The lobby has electronic-button doors, and there is an elevator to the ninth floor. There are gender neutral restrooms. We have interpreter services.
