About Mr. Christopher J. Kusmiesz

Christopher J. Kusmiesz is an exercise physiologist with the Penn Sports Cardiology and Fitness Program. He sees both cardiovascular patients and competitive athletes with a wide range of fitness issues. Chris works to improve the performance of patients by assessing their current level of fitness, developing an individualized exercise prescription and also provides feedback and recommendations throughout their exercise program. Chris has worked with a variety of clientele including athletes, members of the military, cardiac patients and pulmonary rehabilitation patients. He has extensive knowledge and experience in conducting and interpreting cardiopulmonary exercise tests as well as developing individualized exercise prescriptions to help patients meet their health and fitness goals. When Chris isn’t at work, he enjoys spending time with his family, going camping and working outside in his garden.
