Invitation to Cover

PHILADELPHIA — On the evening of Thursday, June 7th, Penn Medicine and Penn Athletics will host a Red Carpet premiere of a new film, Head Games, a revealing documentary about the concussion crisis in sports.

Inspired from the book of the same title, Head Games shares eye-opening insight about head trauma and the cutting-edge science from the nation's leading experts, including numerous University of Pennsylvania faculty.

Traumatic brain injury survivors and families impacted by head trauma will be in attendance, available for interviews.

Following a screening of the film, an panel of experts will tackle controversies in concussion diagnosis, treatment and policy. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Penn Center for Brain Injury and Repair at Penn Medicine.
