Image1The Center for Bloodless Medicine &Surgery (CBMS) at PAH recognizes that blood is a precious and scarce resource. TheCBMS strives to effectively coordinate and attain the blood management needs ofa patient by using the latest drugs, technology and techniques to decreaseblood loss and enhance the patient’s own blood supply. 

Blood Management Awareness Week, being heldfrom October 15 to 19, is designed to highlight the collaborative team approachemployed at PAH to assess the blood management needs of our patients.

Be sure to come by and meet members from the CBMS duringtheir special week of activities. Members will be available to answerquestions, clear up misconceptions and discuss how blood management benefitseveryone. The schedule is as follows:
