On April 30, PPMC recognized our physicians’ devotion to creating a healthier community, as well as the vital role our committed, generous donors play in supporting our mission. During the Spring Physician Appreciation Event, faculty, staff, leadership, and donors were invited to the Cupp Pavilion to savor some delicious snacks, celebrate their achievements of Presby’s dedicated and compassionate physicians, and witness the unveiling of the new “Donors of Distinction” wall.
The wall lists the names of over 400 donors who have supported research, education, and patient care with gifts of $10,000 or more, including the members of the Ephraim D. Saunders Society whose total lifetime contributions are $1 million or more. The wall’s inscription notes that every “modern-day, civic-minded leader” listed on wall has echoed the “transformational philanthropic nature of our hospital’s founder” and has contributed to the “grand tradition of generosity” that underscores PPMC’s mission.
