A table lined with rows and stacks of donated school supplies Before the start of the school year this fall, HUP’s Nursing Network Center held its 15th annual Back to School Drive, hosted by Director Zachary Scott. The items were donated to the Lutheran Settlement House in Northeast Philadelphia. “We collected over 20 book bags along with many boxes of crayons, pencils, markers and many binders and composition books,” said Brenda L. Bradford, nursing resource specialist. “Our nursing staff are always so very generous despite the current pandemic that we have been in. With the children going back to the classrooms this year, these items are definitely needed.”
