Earlier this summer, HUP’s HR team – Denise Mariotti, Karen Haugh, Phyllis Murray, Shannon Camps, Lidia Corso, Andrea Mathis and Domenic Sanginiti – volunteered their time at MANNA, a nonprofit which delivers meals to individuals in the Greater Philadelphia area who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses and are at nutritional risk due to the disease or treatment for the disease. “MANNA provides three meals a day, seven days a week, 52 weeks a year,” said Mariotti, HUP’s chief HR officer who’s also a member of the MANNA Board of Directors. “Each month they deliver 95,000 meals.”
All told, the team put together 950 meals!
