The mission of the Penn Medicine Program for LGBTQ Health is to improve the care of LGBTQ populations by becoming a local and national leader in LGBTQ patient care, education, research, and advocacy.
To meet our mission, the program focuses on the following five areas:
We support LGBTQ individuals in the workplace, classroom, and healthcare settings by promoting an LGBTQ-inclusive climate and culture.
Our program promotes health education and provides mentorship and professional development for LGBTQ students, trainees and faculty.
Learn how we aim to increase LGBTQ participation in Penn research initiatives and support new areas of research in LGBTQ health.
We continue to improve patient and family-centered care for LGBTQ individuals by connecting with caring, compassionate and skilled providers.
