Raj C. Dedhia, MD, MSCR, has joined the faculty of Penn ENT to lead the new Division of Sleep Surgery and initiate a CPAP Alternatives Clinic with the support of the Penn Sleep Center. Dr Dedhia completed his medical education at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and a Masters in Clinical Research from the University of Pittsburgh. He completed his residency in otolaryngology/head & neck surgery at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center, and was subsequently a fellow in sleep medicine at the University of Washington.
Dr. Dedhia has dedicated his clinical practice to improving the care of patients with obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), with a focus on patients unable to tolerate CPAP. His research interests include upper airway pathophysiology in sleep-disordered breathing and the cardiovascular effects of sleep-disordered breathing.
Dr. Dedhia is board-certified in sleep medicine and otolaryngology. He will see patients at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
