A graduate of both the University of Pennsylvania (PhD, Cellular and Molecular Biology) and the University of Pennsylvania Medical School, Daria V. Babushok, MD, PhD, is now an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Hematology/Oncology at Penn Medicine and the Abramson Cancer Center.
A specialist in bone marrow failure, Dr. Babushok's specific clinical interests include acquired aplastic anemia, paroxysmal nocturnal hemoglobinuria (PNH), inherited bone marrow failure and familial myeloid neoplasms. Her research interests focus on the pathogenesis of aplastic anemia and other types of immune-mediated bone marrow failure, and on understanding clonal hematopoiesis and the evolution to myelodysplastic syndrome.
Board certified in hematology, Dr Babushok sees patients at the Abramson Cancer Center, Perelman 4th Floor West.
