Brian C. Capell, MD, PhD, received both his MD and PhD from the New York University School of Medicine, completed his postgraduate residency training in dermatology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania and was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Penn Epigenetics Institute.
Dr. Capell's clinical interests include patients at high risk for melanoma, squamous cell carcinoma and basal cell carcinoma. His research is focused on understanding how epigenetic mechanisms contribute to skin cancer and aging.
Board certified in Dermatology, Dr. Capell sees patients at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
