Ramani Balu, MD, PhD, received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. He completed his residency in neurology and his fellowship in neurocritical care at the Hospital of
the University of Pennsylvania.
Dr. Balu specializes in the care of a wide range of neurological events and disorders, including cerebral blood flow occlusion, Guillain-Barré syndrome (GBS), neurotoxicity in cancer patients, paraneoplastic neurological syndrome (PNS), seizures, stroke and traumatic brain injury (TBI).
Board-certified in neurology, Dr. Balu sees patients at the Penn Neuroscience Center at the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine.
