Penn CVI has four goals:
Penn CVI faculty members direct the following cardiology fellowship training programs:
Each Penn cardiology fellowship program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education.
In addition, CVI faculty members direct multiple cardiovascular CME courses focused on multiple topics relevant to cardiovascular medicine and cardiothoracic surgery. CVI faculty members also present lectures on cardiovascular health and disease to the community at outpatient satellite practices including Penn Medicine Radnor and Penn Medicine Valley Forge.
Collaboration among faculty is a critical component of Penn CVI. Partnerships across UPenn and Penn Medicine promote transformational discoveries in cardiovascular disease.
