Vaccine Scheduling Update: We’re experiencing very high call volumes from people interested in getting the COVID-19 vaccine. Currently, our vaccine supply is very small, and we are unable to accept phone calls to schedule vaccine appointments. Please check back here for updates.

The Division participates intensively in the education and training of undergraduate students, medical and graduate students, combined degree students, medical residents, and GI fellows.

Research Opportunities for Students

The Division of Gastroenterology offers undergraduate students, medical students and medicine interns/residents (and other disciplines) opportunities to do research in basic and translational science (stem cell/developmental biology and regenerative medicine, genetics, cancer biology, and immunobiology), clinical research (pharmacoepidemiology, outcomes research) and population science (quality, safety, and outcomes research), all linked to a spectrum of GI, liver and pancreatic diseases.
