Types of Testicular Cancer

About 95 percent of testicular cancers are germ cell tumors, which are located in the testicles. There are two types of testicular cancer:

  • Seminomas: Seminomas are slower-growing cancers, and more sensitive to radiation treatments.
  • Nonseminomas: Nonseminomas grow and spread faster than seminomas.

More than 95 percent of testicular cancer patients survive their cancer.
