This course is designed to efficiently discuss the most recent clinical advances in oncology. This course will address the questions that have emerged from the latest data presented at major international annual meetings.

Target Audience

This activity has been designed for medical, surgical and radiation oncologists, radiologists, urologists, gastroenterologists, primary care physicians, dermatologists, pulmonologists, hematologists/oncologists, hematology/oncology fellows, oncology nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of patients with cancer.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, participants should be able to:

  • Describe recent advances in immunotherapy for cancer treatment
  • Identify the current clinical approaches to immunotherapy
  • Explain how to apply new clinical findings to a broad range of tumor types
  • Identify issues related to extent of therapy by genomics, stage and patient condition
  • Describe optimal use of targeted agents
