Non-Invasive Vascular Laboratory

Our non-invasive vascular laboratories perform studies aimed at diagnosing vascular disease. Most studies utilize ultrasound to evaluate arteries or veins for disease. Pressures may also be measured in the extremities to check for an artery blockage. This study avoids the need for invasive testing in many cases. For your added convenience, studies in our laboratory can be performed on the same day as physician evaluations.

Magnetic Resonance Angiography (MRA)
An MRA is a noninvasive study, which is used to evaulate arteries and veins in the body without the use of X-ray contrast. A magnetic resonance angiography is an image of the blood vessels, depicting where blockages exist. This study provides doctors with a roadmap for any necessary further interventions.
