Penn Medicine's pancreas transplant program is comprised of a multidisciplinary team of specialists who manage patient care from the evaluation visit through the transplant procedure and postoperative care. The program's goal is to provide the best care and restore each patient ta full and productive life.

While primarily committed patient care, Penn’s faculty members are also actively engaged in clinical and laboratory research designed to improve survival and quality of life for transplant recipients.
