- Where do we park?
Parking for patients and visitors is available at the Penn Tower Garage and throughout the Penn campus. The Penn Tower Garage is open 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
Family members requiring long-term parking can purchase a parking pass at the cashier's office. The cashier's office is open 7:30 am to 5:45 pm, Monday through Friday, and is located on 1 Silverstein in HUP. The $70 pass is good for 15 consecutive days and provides unlimited in/out access to the Penn Tower Garage only. There is no reimbursement for days that are not used.

- How do we get to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania?
The Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania (HUP) is easily accessible by car and public transportation. Visitor information includes driving directions, parking information and maps of the hospital campus.
Amtrak serves Philadelphia's 30th Street Station and Philadelphia International Airport is served by all major airlines. Service to the HUP campus from 30th Street Station and the airport is provided by SEPTA.
The LUCY (Loop through University City) shuttle runs to the main entrance to Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, the Perelman Center for Advanced Medicine and Penn Presbyterian Medical Center. The ride to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania from 30th Street Station takes about 10 minutes.
Charges for the LUCY shuttle are $2 or a SEPTA token, and it is free with a SEPTA pass or ID card from the University of Pennsylvania, Penn Medicine, Drexel University, Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the VA Medical Center.

Food and vending services are available at HUP and the Perelman Center, in addition to a number of restaurants and fast food options in the areas. Patients are also encouraged to bring food or snacks if they anticipate a long day at the Penn Transplant Institute.
