Who Manages the Program?

The Lung Nodule Program is led by Joel D. Cooper, MD, Chief of the Division of Thoracic Surgery at the University of Pennsylvania Health System. Other members of the Division of Thoracic Surgery join him including:

The Penn Division of Thoracic Surgery team is comprised of nationally recognized experts and is one of the largest thoracic surgery programs in the country. The Lung Nodule Program also includes an advanced practice nurse and the thoracic radiology team at HUP, lead by Warren B. Gefter, MD.
