Autologous Blood Donations

For individuals wishing to use their own blood for surgery-related transfusions, Pennsylvania Hospital offers the option of autologous blood donations. Through autologous donations, individuals can have their own blood drawn and stored for an upcoming operation.

The procedure is an option only in cases of elective surgery. Ask your surgeon for more information.
