Dedicated surgical teams at Penn Presbyterian,
consisting of surgeons, nurses and technicians
in various specialties, are extensively trained
in unprecedented minimally invasive surgical techniques
and procedures. Our physicians have in-depth expertise,
treating patients from all over the country using
minimally invasive techniques, including robotics,
on a daily basis.
In addition, many of our surgeons are on boards
of several national minimally invasive surgical
organizations, keeping them at the forefront of

While all minimally invasive surgeries have the
potential to necessitate a conversion to an "open"
procedure during the operation, the conversion
rate at Penn Presbyterian is very low due to the
experience of our skilled surgeons.
