Public Stress Management Course
What Will You Be Asked to Do?
You will attend a 2 1/2 hour class once a week for eight weeks.
You will also be asked to practice specific mindfulness techniques that you learn in class at home 6 out of 7 days each week during the eight-week course. This will help you to develop a practice that fits into your lifestyle.
You will be provided with recordings that you can use to guide your at-home meditative practices. On average, you will be asked to spend about 40 minutes each day practicing the mindfulness techniques.
In addition to the eight classes, you will attend one all-day session which takes place on a weekend which will help to reinforce your practice of the techniques that you will learn in class.
